How to's for a new graduate or student employee - Include both your permanent and temporary address. This way we can contact you after graduation or during a school break

Resume Do’s - Limit to one page if possible, however if your experience warrants two pages don’t reduce the type size
- Bold and capitalize name
- Use bold or italics to highlight important points
- Proofread and review often for grammar and spelling
- Include all contact information – email, cellular phone, home phone number
- List languages you are proficient in, if proficient in more than one
- Write your resume in third person not first - Example: Developed a website, rather than I developed a website
Resume Don’ts - Use more than two different typeface styles
- Include personal data, such as age, race or gender

- Type the word “Resume” at the top of the page
- Don’t lie about dates or titles on your resume
- Don’t be too wordy, state your case
- Use abbreviations
- Copy job descriptions, present your accomplishments
